Thank You!! In 2015 the Quaich Tour witnessed 150+ different disc golfers compete in 10 events over 8 months, which is really something special when you think about the state of our sport 4 years ago. Thank You! for your assistance, patience, attendance, and camaraderie. We have so much to look forward to in 2016. I would like to Thank the sponsors of the Quaich Tour for never hesitating to donate prizes and put up with my endless barrage of questions as we found our feet. Without their commitment to emerging areas we wouldn't be in such a position to celebrate our country wide tour. Support the people that support us. The Quaich Tour was 10 events spread out over the whole of Scotland from March through October in the best of Scottish weather. This year we crown a Champion that was able to play at a high level for the entire season, even topping out as the UK #1 player for a time in late Spring. Congratulations from all of us! Heriot-Watt University 334 6. Glasgow University 2 341 After the singles round we all took a little break to catch our collective breaths before embarking on this challenging course again in Alternate Shot Doubles. I think some of the players were more enticed by the drop zones on some of the trickiest holes. The course at the Hermitage is still temporary and some thick sections of gorse and bramble could make a mistake painful if you really liked the disc. Believe me I know that first hand. Second and third places in the University division received a 3 disc set from Latitude 64 and prodigy disc Europe. The Hermitage Golf Course provided the excellent conditions, Simon and cafe staff supplied the excellent food, and Mother nature was kind.
Thank You to ALL the volunteers who provided, set-up, broke down and dragged back all the baskets, without you this event would not have happened.
This TD is already looking forward to 2016!
